Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We don't sell your data. Period.
1. Who We Are
Black Bot is owned and operated by Kevin Lassiter, based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. We can be reached at support@myblackbot.com.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information: When you register, we collect your username, email address, and hashed password.
Payment Information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.
Usage Data: We collect information about how you use the Platform including chat history, generated content, trading activity, and feature usage. This helps us improve the product.
Trading Data: If you connect a brokerage account, we store trade records in our database to power your trade journal and analytics. We do not have access to your brokerage credentials beyond the OAuth tokens you authorize.
Device and Browser Data: We may collect your IP address, browser type, and device information for security and analytics purposes.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the Platform and its features
- To process payments and manage subscriptions
- To send transactional emails (welcome, password reset, notifications)
- To personalize your experience and remember your preferences
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Third-Party Services
Black Bot integrates with the following third-party services. Each has their own privacy policy:
- Anthropic (Claude AI) — Powers AI chat and analysis features
- ElevenLabs — Powers voice synthesis features
- Stripe — Processes payments
- Resend — Sends transactional emails
- Schwab API — Connects to your brokerage account (only with your authorization)
- Railway — Hosts the Platform infrastructure
- YouTube Data API — Powers the YouTube hub
- Brave Search — Powers web search features
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway's infrastructure. We use industry-standard security practices including password hashing, HTTPS encryption, and session-based authentication.
While we take reasonable precautions, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.
Chat history and generated content may be retained to improve our AI systems unless you request deletion.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access — Request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Correction — Request correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion — Request deletion of your account and data
- Portability — Request your data in a portable format
- Opt-out — Opt out of non-essential communications

8. Cookies
Black Bot uses session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect Platform functionality.
9. Children's Privacy
Black Bot is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal data, we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of Black Bot after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
